Welcome to a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and purpose. I am dedicated to guiding individuals through life’s challenges, fostering personal growth, and helping you uncover your true potential.
Originally from Minnesota, I relocated to Utah to pursue my passion for football and graduated from Weber State University in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Criminal Justice. During my academic journey, I completed an internship with Davis Behavioral Health, specializing in the substance use program from 2020–2021. I also bring valuable experience in law enforcement, which has enhanced my understanding of diverse client needs. In May 2024, I earned my Master of Social Work degree with a certificate in substance use.
As an adoptee born with fetal alcohol syndrome and raised in a white, single-parent household alongside seven siblings, my personal experiences have deeply shaped my commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities. I am passionate about empowering people from all walks of life, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Throughout my career, I have gained expertise in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model, facilitated group therapy, and worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges, including sex offenses, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and schizophrenia.
Looking ahead, I am eager to deepen my understanding of trauma and expand my skills in areas such as couples counseling, child and family therapy, and youth services. I am currently pursuing EMDR certification to better support clients in processing trauma and healing.
My therapeutic approach is empathetic, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. In every session, I strive to create a supportive environment that fosters growth, motivation, and resilience. Together, we will work to help you write your own unique story of healing and transformation.
