Meet Darcy ThompsonAPSW, EMDR

Darcy Thompson is a clinical social worker who is eager to collaborate with clients on their treatment objectives. They earned both their Bachelors and Masters of Social Work degrees from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, focusing on Trauma-Informed care, Person-Centered treatment approaches, and Solution-Focused therapies. Additionally, they are skilled in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Stabilization and Intervention, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion-Regulation practices.

Throughout their career, Darcy has assisted a diverse range of clients spanning various ages and backgrounds. With a commitment to active, reflective listening and empathy, they strive to deeply comprehend each client's life challenges and experiences. This understanding forms the foundation for a collaborative journey towards wellness and personal growth. Darcy has expertise in working with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Schizophrenia, and several other severe and persistent mental health conditions. They are wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting each client in achieving their therapeutic aspirations.

Meet Shelby SchillerLCSW, Supervisor, EMDR, Somatic Experience

Dr. Schiller began her clinical career as a hospice volunteer at the age of 16, developing a passion for clinical trauma and complex behavioral health issues. Her direct practice experience includes intensive case management working with children, families, couples, and individuals across the lifespan and with a variety of challenges. She seeks to integrate various practices and theories from evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Somatic Experience (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), which foster growth, resilience, and independence in the client through the acquisition of actionable skills and increased personal insight.

She empowers her clients through recognition and acknowledgment of their strengths and resilience by increasing positivity, and provision of validation/self-validation which includes acceptance through a non-judgmental atmosphere of support, to improve self-worth. She has extensive clinical experience encompassing a range of issues related to trauma and the impact traumatic experiences have on daily functioning. She recognizes her clients as the expert of their own experiences, striving to create a therapeutic alliance that focuses on collaboration, empathetic support, and respect while identifying and celebrating client strengths.

She offers a collaborative and integrative approach for clients seeking insight to their challenges. Her attitude towards therapy is that there is not one universal method that works best for anyone, therefore, she uses an appropriate blend of modalities to help the clients she serves overcome whatever they are currently experiencing. She believes that the client is the expert in their own life and she is here to help navigate the difficulties that the client is currently facing. She concentrates on developing a partnership with clients to identify strengths and areas of potential growth to make meaning and implement positive change.

Her specialization is assisting individuals navigating life change and transitions, coping with grief and loss, and reducing the impact and effects of trauma and traumatic experiences. She believes that everyone possesses the strengths and tools needed to achieve healing goals, her role as a therapist is to help the client access and utilize these strengths effectively.

She knows that finding the right therapist while a positive step towards change, is often a daunting task. Her role as a therapist is to help you find peace in a safe and confidential space by gaining insight and perspective into your current challenges. 

Dr. Schiller holds a Doctor of Social Work with emphasis on clinical expertise from Walden University, a Master of Social Work and Master of Science in Gerontology from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from California State University Los Angeles. She is certified in a wide range of social work applications that address complex trauma and seeks to implement cultural humility with all clients served. She is a licensed LCSW in Nevada and Arizona and a board certified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Arizona.

Sungah, who goes by Annie, is a dedicated behavioral health therapist committed to providing compassionate therapy services. Drawing upon evidence-based modalities, she establishes a secure and non-judgmental space where clients can freely delve into their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Annie firmly believes in the innate resilience of each individual and their potential for growth. In her view, therapy is a collaborative voyage where clients are the authorities on their own experiences. Her approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and respect, fostering an atmosphere where diversity is embraced and all clients are esteemed. After pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Utah, she is deeply passionate about working with clients of all ages, particularly children and adolescents. Her goal is to create a safe, empathetic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and validated.

Meet Meredith EthingtonCMHC-I

Meredith is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, she brings years of experience in exploring the intersection of motherhood and mental health. Meredith works compassionately with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, faith transitions, or feeling stuck in difficult moments. While women’s issues are a particular passion of hers, she eagerly welcomes the opportunity to support teens and adults from all backgrounds.

In therapy, Meredith draws from attachment theory but firmly believes in an integrated, client-centered approach to ensure that each person feels truly seen and heard. Recognizing that therapy is never one-size-fits-all, she helps clients discover a treatment modality that resonates with who they are. Meredith sees her role as helping people tap into their own power to overcome life’s challenges. She practices and encourages radical acceptance, hoping her clients will learn to embrace themselves with the same level of compassion and love.

Outside of her work, Meredith is a proud mother of three teens and enjoys spending time with her kids and her dog, Millie.

Meet Kaelan Allan ParkerLCSW, EMDR, Neurofeedback

Kaelan comes with a background of working in school, hospital, and higher care settings. She worked with the mentally ill and those in mental health crises, with an extensive background in suicide work. Kaelan graduated with Honors from Utah Valley University with a bachelors of social work. She continued her education at the University of Utah, graduating with high honors in the Master of Social Work program. She values education and has taken the approach that learning is continual, and often takes place outside of the traditional classroom.

She believes that each client is the expert in their own lives and recognizes the opportunity to learn is critical in development. Therapeutic work should be collaborative and that can only be done when all parties are ready. Kaelan takes a motivational approach with the belief that eventually pain will subside and we get to decide what will take its place.

Therapy can be uncomfortable but it should be embraced as we make changes for growth, find value through the difficult experiences and peace in collaboration. Kaelan currently works with children, adolescents, young adult, and adults.

Meet Natalie LottCSW, EMDR

Every experience, individual, and journey is indeed unique. Through her clinical experience, she has come to deeply understand this and strives to tailor her therapeutic approach to each client. She specializes in treating conditions like anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. She brings prior experience from her time at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute as well as the Utah Juvenile Defense Attorney's office.

In her practice, she utilizes research-based methodologies including CBT, ACT, and DBT. By adopting an integrated approach, she aims to customize each session according to her client's specific needs and objectives. She is currently in the process of obtaining certification in EMDR.

She is presently offering therapy services as a Master's level student, with an anticipation of graduating this upcoming May.
