Meet Darcy ThompsonAPSW, EMDR

Darcy Thompson is a clinical social worker who is eager to collaborate with clients on their treatment objectives. They earned both their Bachelors and Masters of Social Work degrees from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, focusing on Trauma-Informed care, Person-Centered treatment approaches, and Solution-Focused therapies. Additionally, they are skilled in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Stabilization and Intervention, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion-Regulation practices.

Throughout their career, Darcy has assisted a diverse range of clients spanning various ages and backgrounds. With a commitment to active, reflective listening and empathy, they strive to deeply comprehend each client's life challenges and experiences. Jon Nash is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah has 7 years of experience working with mental health clients. He has worked in a variety of settings including adolescent residential treatment and private practice. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Brigham Young University and received his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. Jon specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD. He is trained in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems theory. He will work with you to identify your personal strengths and then build off of those areas.

It can be challenging to have high levels of anxiety, depression, and other overwhelming feelings present. The experience of working in some challenging settings helps Jon to better understand where you are coming from and being able to provide you with tools to help you live a more meaningful life and more hopeful future.

Tim provides effective and compassionate mental health care to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. His commitment to cultural humility ensures that he values working with individuals from various demographic backgrounds. He has a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges and offers care for those facing trauma, PTSD, depression, grief, faith-journey challenges, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, parent-child conflict, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and other mental health challenges.

She has assisted adults, couples, college students, and adolescents dealing with a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship troubles, familial concerns, grief, self-harm, and suicidal tendencies. Regardless of the struggle, she emphasizes that there is always a beacon of hope for recovery.

She employs a diverse range of evidence-based methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), and Gottman couples’ therapy.
