Meet Darcy ThompsonAPSW, EMDR

Darcy Thompson is a clinical social worker who is eager to collaborate with clients on their treatment objectives. They earned both their Bachelors and Masters of Social Work degrees from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, focusing on Trauma-Informed care, Person-Centered treatment approaches, and Solution-Focused therapies. Additionally, they are skilled in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Stabilization and Intervention, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotion-Regulation practices.

Throughout their career, Darcy has assisted a diverse range of clients spanning various ages and backgrounds. With a commitment to active, reflective listening and empathy, they strive to deeply comprehend each client's life challenges and experiences. This understanding forms the foundation for a collaborative journey towards wellness and personal growth. Darcy has expertise in working with individuals diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Schizophrenia, and several other severe and persistent mental health conditions. Meet Shelby SchillerLCSW, Supervisor, EMDR, Somatic Experience

Dr. Schiller began her clinical career as a hospice volunteer at the age of 16, developing a passion for clinical trauma and complex behavioral health issues. Her direct practice experience includes intensive case management working with children, families, couples, and individuals across the lifespan and with a variety of challenges. She seeks to integrate various practices and theories from evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Somatic Experience (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), which foster growth, resilience, and independence in the client through the acquisition of actionable skills and increased personal insight.

She empowers her clients through recognition and acknowledgment of their strengths and resilience by increasing positivity, and provision of validation/self-validation which includes acceptance through a non-judgmental atmosphere of support, to improve self-worth. She has extensive clinical experience encompassing a range of issues related to trauma and the impact traumatic experiences have on daily functioning. She recognizes her clients as the expert of their own experiences, striving to create a therapeutic alliance that focuses on collaboration, empathetic support, and respect while identifying and celebrating client strengths.

She offers a collaborative and integrative approach for clients seeking insight to their challenges. Her attitude towards therapy is that there is not one universal method that works best for anyone, therefore, she uses an appropriate blend of modalities to help the clients she serves overcome whatever they are currently experiencing. She believes that the client is the expert in their own life and she is here to help navigate the difficulties that the client is currently facing. Her specialization is assisting individuals navigating life change and transitions, coping with grief and loss, and reducing the impact and effects of trauma and traumatic experiences. She believes that everyone possesses the strengths and tools needed to achieve healing goals, her role as a therapist is to help the client access and utilize these strengths effectively.

She knows that finding the right therapist while a positive step towards change, is often a daunting task. Her role as a therapist is to help you find peace in a safe and confidential space by gaining insight and perspective into your current challenges. 

Dr. Schiller holds a Doctor of Social Work with emphasis on clinical expertise from Walden University, a Master of Social Work and Master of Science in Gerontology from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from California State University Los Angeles. She is certified in a wide range of social work applications that address complex trauma and seeks to implement cultural humility with all clients served. She is a licensed LCSW in Nevada and Arizona and a board certified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Arizona.

Meet Michele MitchellLPC

Meet Michele. She is a licensed professional counselor and a clinical substance dependency counselor in the state of Wisconsin and Arizona. She received her Masters in Community Psychology from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her internship at the Center for Behavioral Medicine which is a board certified Dialectical Behavioral therapy clinic in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Additionally, Michele completed her training licensure working in Medication Assisted Treatment centers for those struggling with substance dependency in Waukesha and West Allis, WI.

Michele has experience working with those experiencing grief, mood disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, Bi-polar disorder,  Schizophrenia, Borderline personality disorder, PTSD, domestic violence, career counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, and eating disorders.

Michele has worked with both children and adults in various populations such as the LGBTQ+A, HIV, substance dependency and mental health. Her therapy style is best described as person centered and her ministry is lead with love and compassion.  As a self-described comprehensive therapist, Michele does her best to bring her professional experience to treatment and does her best to help empower clients to improve their lives the way they want to.

With an open heart and a readiness to tackle any challenge, no matter the size, this counselor invites potential clients to engage in a therapeutic alliance filled with laughter, the occasional need for tissues, and the sweetness of chocolates.

Tim Fasano is a clinical social worker at Meadowbrook, where he combines compassion with evidence-based techniques to offer a supportive therapeutic environment. His approach is trauma-informed and incorporates methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and various mindfulness and somatic-based approaches. Tim's goal is to meet clients where they are and help them create real, attainable goals.

Tim provides effective and compassionate mental health care to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. His commitment to cultural humility ensures that he values working with individuals from various demographic backgrounds. He has a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges and offers care for those facing trauma, PTSD, depression, grief, faith-journey challenges, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, parent-child conflict, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and other mental health challenges.

Education and Experience

Tim earned his Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America, where he built a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and counseling theories. He has specific experience working with adolescents dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and poor peer/family relationships.

Personal Interests

Outside of his clinical practice, Tim enjoys playing soccer and other sports, as well as hiking and camping. He looks forward to walking with clients toward their goals.

Meet Whitney HutchingsLCSW, EMDR, Neurofeedback

At times, certain aspects of life can become daunting and paralyzing. Navigating these moments can be challenging, leaving one unsure of where to turn. In her practice, she understands the significance of having someone offer tools, techniques, and knowledge to achieve healing. She believes in working hand in hand with her clients, fostering a team-based approach to therapy. She has assisted adults, couples, college students, and adolescents dealing with a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, relationship troubles, familial concerns, grief, self-harm, and suicidal tendencies. Regardless of the struggle, she emphasizes that there is always a beacon of hope for recovery.

She employs a diverse range of evidence-based methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), and Gottman couples’ therapy. In every approach, her aim is to operate with compassion and empathy, ensuring she starts from where the client is and progresses at their preferred pace.
