Meet Shelby SchillerLCSW, Supervisor, EMDR, Somatic Experience

Dr. Schiller began her clinical career as a hospice volunteer at the age of 16, developing a passion for clinical trauma and complex behavioral health issues. Her direct practice experience includes intensive case management working with children, families, couples, and individuals across the lifespan and with a variety of challenges. She seeks to integrate various practices and theories from evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Somatic Experience (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), which foster growth, resilience, and independence in the client through the acquisition of actionable skills and increased personal insight.

She empowers her clients through recognition and acknowledgment of their strengths and resilience by increasing positivity, and provision of validation/self-validation which includes acceptance through a non-judgmental atmosphere of support, to improve self-worth. She has extensive clinical experience encompassing a range of issues related to trauma and the impact traumatic experiences have on daily functioning. She recognizes her clients as the expert of their own experiences, striving to create a therapeutic alliance that focuses on collaboration, empathetic support, and respect while identifying and celebrating client strengths.

She offers a collaborative and integrative approach for clients seeking insight to their challenges. Her attitude towards therapy is that there is not one universal method that works best for anyone, therefore, she uses an appropriate blend of modalities to help the clients she serves overcome whatever they are currently experiencing. She believes that the client is the expert in their own life and she is here to help navigate the difficulties that the client is currently facing. She concentrates on developing a partnership with clients to identify strengths and areas of potential growth to make meaning and implement positive change.

Her specialization is assisting individuals navigating life change and transitions, coping with grief and loss, and reducing the impact and effects of trauma and traumatic experiences. She believes that everyone possesses the strengths and tools needed to achieve healing goals, her role as a therapist is to help the client access and utilize these strengths effectively.

She knows that finding the right therapist while a positive step towards change, is often a daunting task. Her role as a therapist is to help you find peace in a safe and confidential space by gaining insight and perspective into your current challenges. 

Dr. Schiller holds a Doctor of Social Work with emphasis on clinical expertise from Walden University, a Master of Social Work and Master of Science in Gerontology from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Social Work from California State University Los Angeles. She is certified in a wide range of social work applications that address complex trauma and seeks to implement cultural humility with all clients served. She is a licensed LCSW in Nevada and Arizona and a board certified Clinical Supervisor in the state of Arizona.

Meet Jon NashLCMHC, EMDR, Neurofeedback, Supervisor

Jon Nash is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah has 7 years of experience working with mental health clients. He has worked in a variety of settings including adolescent residential treatment and private practice. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Brigham Young University and received his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide. Jon specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD. He is trained in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems theory. He will work with you to identify your personal strengths and then build off of those areas.

It can be challenging to have high levels of anxiety, depression, and other overwhelming feelings present. The experience of working in some challenging settings helps Jon to better understand where you are coming from and being able to provide you with tools to help you live a more meaningful life and more hopeful future.

Becky is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in the state of Washington. She holds a clinical master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver and brings a wealth of experience from her work with adolescents, families, and individuals in a variety of therapeutic settings. Becky embraces an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating diverse modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Existential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her therapeutic approach is holistic and highly personalized, blending evidence-based practices with a profound understanding of the emotional and psychological impacts of trauma, life transitions, and daily stressors.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to fostering a strong therapeutic alliance characterized by open, honest, and trusting communication. Becky’s style is direct and transparent, offering insights and guidance with the right balance of compassion and humor. She believes deeply in the power of creating a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Madison possesses a deep passion for assisting individuals in navigating through these trying moments and discovering strategies to overcome the obstacles they encounter. Central to her belief system is the conviction that every person deserves to be heard, understood, and supported.

Throughout her career, a significant focus has been on aiding clients in behavior modification and addressing symptoms related to substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma responses. She also boasts valuable experience in working with clients on the autism spectrum and those who have endured the harrowing effects of domestic violence.

Madison's counseling approach is firmly grounded in empathy, compassion, and the art of active listening. She is unwavering in her commitment to establishing a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can delve into their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without the burden of criticism or misunderstanding. Her professional training includes expertise in trust-based relational interventions, behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Furthermore, Madison is in the process of pursuing certification in neurofeedback therapy and EMDR, continuously expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve her clients.
