I am here first and foremost to serve you, to support your goals, to see the best in you, and envision the life you can still create no matter what you’ve been through or where you are now. Sometimes you know exactly what it is bringing you to into therapy, and other times you just have an ambiguous sense of being stuck in life. In either case, this is the safe space for you.
My approach to healing begins with helping you build a foundational understanding of how the brain works and how your past experiences continue to impact your present. Offering my education and experience as a clinician, I will then collaborate with you in creating a customized plan for moving toward your goals.
Based on your preferences, I have experience in multiple methodologies of treatment - from logical and structured approaches to the more emotional and abstract. (I always keep up to date with current research in the field, so my experience includes but is not limited to: cognitive behavioral, internal family systems, solution-focused, body-mind holistic, accelerated experiential, cognitive processing, emotion-focused, and more.)
