Hello! My name is Juliane and I’m an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Through personal experience, and with loved ones struggling with addiction, abuse and divorce, I have learned pain in life is inevitable; I have also learned suffering is not. My passion is to support and help people to relieve as much suffering as possible through sharing tools to make life more manageable and meaningful, even through times of uncertainty and distress.
Through counseling we come to accept that life is full of challenges and change. We also learn to adapt and cope in less stressful ways. The tools and skills we learn in counseling have a significant impact on how we feel, how we see ourselves and the world, and also change the quality of relationships we have. Therapies I most often use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
None of us were meant to navigate painful experiences alone. I'd love to help you work through past and current challenges, including trauma, that continue to hold you back from living your values and becoming who you are meant to be.
