Hello! I’m Jessica Castro, and I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained valuable experience interning at various counseling organizations, where I have led classes on substance abuse, domestic violence, and other mental health concerns. Additionally, I have a background in mentoring youth and leading service trips to different countries, fostering a global perspective and deepening my passion for helping others.
As a counselor, my primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I believe in the power of exploration and self-discovery, and I am here to support you as you navigate your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical and effective method for identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I also integrate mindfulness techniques to help clients stay grounded, manage stress, and cultivate a sense of presence and calm in their everyday lives.
I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, supporting them through a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. I am dedicated to helping each client find hope, happiness, and a sense of balance in their lives.
If you’re ready to embark on a journey of meaningful change and personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and a compassionate ear.
