I graduated from Weber State University in 2015 with a B.S in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I worked at a residential treatment center for adolescent females as a line staff for a year before grad school. I graduated from Westminster College in 2020 with a M.S in Mental Health Counseling. I completed my practicum at a women’s social detox center. I also interned at Weber State’s Counseling Center. After graduating from Westminster, I worked at an Opioid Use Disorder treatment center and a general outpatient center before coming to Meadowbrook. I have worked with clients of all ages and various backgrounds.
While I like to work from a base of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I also draw techniques and skills from humanistic psychology, multicultural counseling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. I have experience with clients who want to work on symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, trauma, and stress. My therapy style is collaborative as I believe in adjusting to meet a client’s needs as best I can. Please reach out if you have any questions about starting therapy.
