I believe that each person has the potential to live the life they truly want and that lasting change is possible. As a strengths-based therapist, client's strengths are built on and utilized in therapy to help the client work through the difficulties they are experiencing. I create a space where you can tell me anything without fear of judgment or me telling you how you should live life. Therapy is an interactive process and it shouldn’t look the same for each person. In addition to talk-therapy, I believe each person responds to different techniques and many times this includes use of music, art, and experiential interventions.
I have helped individuals with a variety of struggles from diverse backgrounds while working in a nationally renowned treatment center for years helping those struggling with substance use, other types of addictions, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma/PTSD, grief, personality disorders, codependency, attachment, and family conflict.
I've overcome many struggles in my life and know how it feels to lose hope for a better life. Looking back on it, I always had someone that helped me get through those tough times. I hope I can be that person for you. You've already made a big step by looking into getting help! Offices in Highland, Park City, & Orem. Text, call, or email. Talk to you soon.
