Lindsey Dean
Pain and emotional suffering that comes at you from all facets of life at times can be too difficult to bear. Sometimes depression can be too heavy, leaving you feeling like there is no hope. Pervasive worry and anxiety can cloud everyday choices making them feel bigger than they are. Abuse in any form can take center stage of your life, seemingly to impact each feeling, thought, and action. The memories from the past can seem to intrude on the memories of the present and taint the memories to come. Even though most people experience pain and suffering of these things from time to time, it is not meant to last forever.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, and integrative of mind and body. My expertise is in working with adults and adolescents individually, as couples and in group settings. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and protocols such as EMDR, the Gottman Method, CBT, DBT, Mind-Body Bridging, ACT, and Mindfulness practice.
I will meet you where you are at while striving to create a therapeutic environment that is welcoming to all parts of you and is conducive to healing and thriving. Let me join you to your path of healing. Call today to see how I can best help.
