With two years of experience as an intern therapist specializing in the forensic field, I possess a deep understanding of substance dependency, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, dissociative identity disorder, grief, PTSD, schizophrenia, and psychosis. I employ a multifaceted approach to help my clients discover their purpose, resolve childhood trauma, achieve peace with the past, and build a future grounded in self-awareness, self-worth, confidence, and freedom.
Drawing on an Existential foundation and utilizing psychotherapy for self-discovery, I incorporate an array of therapeutic approaches including Art Therapy, Brief Therapy, CBT, Gestalt Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. My journey with each client reinforces my belief that each individual is uniquely designed to experience a meaningful life. Every person possesses the capacity to author their own narrative as they navigate their personal heritage, life's circumstances, and the choices they make.
My 25-year background in law enforcement and emergency medical service has provided me with invaluable experience interacting with individuals from diverse walks of life. Recognizing that many individuals lack the resources for change, I firmly believe that regardless of past experiences or current circumstances, seeking support is a positive step towards achieving life goals.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental, inclusive, and diverse environment where clients can feel supported and understood. I believe in partnering with my clients to embark on a potentially life-altering journey towards self-discovery. As I remind my clients, "You are worthy, you are worth it, and nobody deserves it more than YOU!"
