Candice is a licensed clinical social work associate in the state of Washington. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington. Candice works with a highly diverse population of clients, including people of color, immigrants, LGBTQ+, teens, adults throughout the lifespan, and people who have experienced relationship violence and/or physical and sexual abuse. As a trauma-informed provider, she draws from multiple theoretical orientations and techniques which are generally rooted in a behaviorist perspective, including how challenging life circumstances impact adaptive strategy. Candice frequently utilizes methods based on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), person-centered therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), empowerment, and advocacy.
