Sophie is a Licensed clinical social worker associate and obtained a Master of Social Work at Walden Univeristy. Sophie has a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective to therapy practice. Her experience includes working with people from ages 5-60 years old facing an array of challenges including grief, relationship conflict, and difficulty managing mental health conditions in daily life. These conditions include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobia, trauma-related disorders, and other mood disorders.
Sophie’s preferred modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), andCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These evidence-based practices help with emotional regulation, gaining new perspectives, increasing self-awareness, and becoming a more resilient individual.
