Hello friends! I cannot promise you that everything will be solved as soon as you walk into my office, but what I can promise you is that you will feel loved, accepted, and like you have someone in your corner. I am someone that you can count on to be on your team throughout the therapy process, and with time, we will be able to work on helping you start to live the life you want to live.
I got my undergraduate degree in Social Work at Utah Valley University and completed my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Utah. I have been certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents, taken extra training in grief and loss, and use Emotional-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to work with anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life changes, and family struggles.
I enjoy working with clients of any age, but feel especially connected to teenagers and young adults. As soon as we meet, I want you to know that I am on your team, and we are in this process together. Sometimes what we need is extra support, and I am here to help you lift where you stand.
