I work with children, individuals, and couples navigating trauma, attachment concerns, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed and trauma-informed approach, I help clients understand how past experiences shape present patterns. I collaborate with clients to build emotional safety, self-compassion, and resilience, supporting meaningful and lasting change. In my work with couples, I focus on strengthening communication, deepening emotional attunement, and helping partners move from reactive cycles toward more secure and connected relationships. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded, and I'm committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

I understand that coming to counseling can feel overwhelming or uncertain. Because of this, I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and free of judgment, where clients can show up as they are. I have a strong background in grief work, including facilitating school-based grief groups for adolescents. This work has been especially meaningful to me and has shaped how I support others through loss. I believe that grief is a deeply personal experience, and I approach each client with compassion, patience, and care as they make sense of their own journey. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I focus on helping clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, build practical coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of self. I also take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how past experiences can shape the present. I value connection and collaboration. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them, offering support, curiosity, and guidance along the way. My goal is to help individuals feel more grounded, understood, and empowered as they move forward.

I work with a wide range of clients and particularly enjoy supporting teens, young adults, women, men, and couples navigating depression, anxiety, body image concerns, marital challenges, and life transitions. I believe every person brings their own story, strengths, and capacity for change into the therapy room. My approach draws from multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), always adapting to what fits best for each individual. I take a strengths-based, lifespan perspective, meeting clients wherever they are in their journey. Above all, I am committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard and safe enough to do real work. I know that asking for help takes courage, and I don't take that lightly. Growing up in Alaska gave me a deep love of the outdoors and an appreciation for resilience, both of which naturally carry into my work with clients. Outside of the office, I stay active, prioritize my health and fitness, and cherish time with my husband and our six kids.
